This sturdy hand crafted vessel is made from pure NZ wool using the wet felting technique.
It's also the perfectly sized bowl to keep small items like keys, jewellery or loose change safe & tidy or use it as a flower vase by inserting a fitting jar.
This bowl is so versatile, decorative, functional, lightweight, colourful, and the soft wool means no scratches on your furniture !
• Made from 100% NZ wool
The outer layer is teal and the inner is royal blue.
Measurements (approx.):
Height - 10cm (3.9 ins)
Width - 11 cm (4.3 ins)
Diameter of opening - 7.5 cm (2.9 ins)
Weight: about 22g
This would make a unique gift as no two wet felted items are ever exactly the same.
Plant in plastic pot is not included !
Care instructions:
:-) Please protect wool bowl from dripping water e.g. with a plastic lid underneath your plant :-)
It should not need washing as wool naturally repels dirt and odour. Shake or brush gently to remove dust. However , it can be gently washed in warm water by hand. It should then be well rinsed , excess moisture can be removed by gently pressing a tea towel inside with a towel underneath. The bowl generally holds its shape and only needs slightly reshaping before left to dry naturally ( or it can be lightly stuffed with newspaper/tea towel whilst drying).
