This sturdy handcrafted vessel is made from pure NZ wool using the wet felting technique.
It's also the perfect sized treasure bowl to keep small items like buttons, jewellery or loose change safe & tidy or use it as a flower vase by inserting a fitting glass or jar.
This bowl is so versatile, decorative, functional, lightweight, colourful, and the soft wool means no scratches on your furniture!
• Made from 100% NZ wool
The outer layer is natural light grey marbled with pastel greens and can have some hints of pastel yellow, blue or red. The inside is wool white.
Measurements (approx.):
Height - 6.5 cm (2.5 ins)
Width - 8.5 cm (3.3 ins)
Diameter of opening - 5 cm (2 ins)
It can host a small 5cm plant pot
This would make a unique gift as no two wet felted items are ever exactly the same.
Plant in plastic pot is not included!
Care instructions:
:-) Please protect the wool bowl from dripping water e.g. with a small piece of foil or repurposed lid underneath your plant :-)
It should not need washing as wool naturally repels dirt and odour. Shake or brush gently to remove dust. However, it can be gently washed in warm water by hand. It should then be well rinsed, excess moisture can be removed by gently pressing a tea towel inside with a towel underneath. The bowl generally holds its shape and only needs slightly reshaping before left to dry naturally ( or it can be lightly stuffed with newspaper/tea towel whilst drying).
