This 108 bead mala can be worn as a necklace or bracelet. These goldstone and rodochrosite beads are approximately 6mm in diameter and are partially hand knotted on durable light pink nylon knotting thread (I do not use silk or natural fibres to knot my gemstones as the stones will cut through the thread in no time at all) a hamsa hand marks the middle of the round and 2 small golden hematite stones act as marker beads. A gold tone 'guru' bead leads the eye down to a sparkling blue goldstone to finish off this beautiful and unique mala.

A Japa mala or mala (Sanskrit:माला; mālā, meaning garland) is a set of beads commonly used by Yogis, Hindus and Buddhists. Malas are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. This practice is known in Sanskrit as japa. Malas are typically made with 18, 27, 54 or 108 beads.

Rhodochrosite keywords: love, balance.
Rhodochrosite is a self-confidence booster owing to bringing a sense of realistic balance to life. It is also used to help cope with problems in life in a graceful, balanced manner without avoidance or dental.
Rhodochrosite balances and enhances love on all levels. It allows fuller love to enter one's life, in part by calming excessive passions. It balances the mental and emotional processes. It is also said to be a stone of freedom because of this helping to balance inner conflicts. This can bring a deep sense of happiness and relief from ongoing stress

Goldstone is also called avventurina, a name that comes from the Italian word for “by chance.” This derives from the story about goldstone’s beginnings: that it was developed by chance by alchemists trying to transform copper into gold. Another story goes that a monk working with both molten copper and glass accidentally mixed the two together, and in a classic “You-got-chocolate-in-my-peanut-butter” moment, goldstone was born. Either way, goldstone reminds us that accidents can have happy results. Nowadays, red goldstone is made by suspending copper particles in glass, which results in a reddish sparkling mineral It’s good for balancing physical and etheric bodies, grounding, and motivation. Blue goldstone uses the same process, but substitutes cobalt or manganese for copper, and is good for overcoming negative thoughts and vision work. Green goldstone, glass colored with chromium, is great for amplification of energy and all-around good luck. All forms of goldstone can help relieve arthritis, promote self-love, and replace unnecessary complications with simplicity.

Known as the Stone of Ambition, Goldstone can help you achieve your goals with persistence and determination. No goal is too big or too small with Goldstone.
When you decide that you want to achieve something, Goldstone’s energies will work with you to make it happen!

Blue Goldstone is a favorite of actors, performers and media types to gain that “big break” to fame. Blue Goldstone is a helpful aide for children who are afraid of the dark. Goldstone, like diamond, is a good deflector of unwanted energies, and is highly regarded in the spirit realm as a protection mineral.

To protect the longevity of your mala remove before sleeping, while bathing or swimming.

The Hamsa Hand is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolizing the Hand of God. In all faiths it is a protective sign. It brings its owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune. The hamsa hand has a wide variety of different spellings which includes hamesh, hamsa, chamsa, and khamsa.
