Unisex cable scarf

I could not resist this unusual pattern- in all my years of knitting I cannot recall seeing a pattern quite like it! This scarf measures 74" (188cm) long and approx 7" (17cm) wide, with a cable down each side and diagonal garter stitch in the middle. The cables placed as they are means this scarf stays flat and does not roll. It is knitted in a 100% pure NZ extra fine Merino yarn- a lovely grey with a black fleck throughout. It is a unisex item and can be wrapped 1-2 times depending how long you want it. Being pure wool it will need to be hand washed.
