Bronze Whale Tail, ocean lovers pendant

A lovely sculptured Whales tail design in Solid bronze, with a Maori engraving. Hung on a black plaited cord with slip knots. A great piece for an ocean loving man or lady.

Pure bronze is a timeless metal used for it's strength & beauty since the 'Bronze Age' it has a similar colour to white gold and it deepens with age, we give them a coat of jewellers wax to slow the tarnishing process.They are solid bronze so can be polished over & over without ever loosing their look.
Our designs are uniquely New Zealand. Made by my partner & I and finished by hand in our mountain workshop. They have a 3D feel and are beautiful to wear.

The whale tail has great significance in Maori culture as a symbol for the journey. Maori Mythology tells how the first Maori came to New Zealand on the back of a Whale. This symbol brings great protection in & around the water and strength on spiritual journeys through life. It represents a deep love of the ocean & it's marine life.

This piece measures 25mm from the top of the whale tail to the lowest point and is 25mm or 1 inch at the widest part.
Hung on a black adjustable cord to wear long or short.

Pendant will be sent in a black velvet gift pouch ready for giving or just treating yourself.
