Kererū Statement Scatter Cushion Cover

This Statement Scatter Cushion cover features New Zealand's Bird Of The Year, the Roundest Boi, the majestic Kererū. Made from a luxurious 55% linen, 45% natural cotton fabric, it has an invisible zipper closure at the bottom. This cover fits a size 18 inner (readily available at homewares stores in NZ), for the plumptious look pictured.

This is the print that started my Birds on Wires collection, and was inspired by the abundance of Kererū here in Port Chalmers. Often seen perching on telephone wires up and down our street, and on the most ridiculously flimsy branches of trees around the neighbourhood, Kererū always bring a smile to my face.

My statement scatter cushion covers are machine washable: just remove the inner, turn the cover inside out, and wash on a delicate/gentle cycle with a phosphate-free laundry detergent (most eco-brand ones should be suitable). Iron inside-out to protect the print.
