Red Beech Driftwood Pendant
Red Beech Driftwood Pendant.
While slicing through driftwood from the West Coast, for another jewellery piece, found this slice not useful for its purpose, but made a one-off pendant.
Amazing grain (photo does not do it justice).
2 coats of natural oil applied.
Fine white residue unknown. Those dark bark areas have been vigorously brushed, and oiled 3 times.
Looks good both sides.
Recycled copper wire fitiing, and finished with a (72cm) waxed chord.
Pendant is 7.0cm long, 4.2cm wide, and 5mm thick.
