Vintage Kimono Silk Shawl - Amanda

This gorgeous shawl is made from vintage Japanese kimono silk, silk velvet, silk obi, Indian silk and found pieces of vintage Japanese silk.


I have pieced together several different panels in pink, cream and white featuring floral, abstract, tie dyed and embroidered patterning. I have lined the reverse side of the shawl with pale yellow, cream and black and white patterned silk.
