Fine NZ Merino wool was laid out in a very fine lattice-work of blended various red wine tones with hints of grey and black, entwined with strands of white mulberry silk fibre which adds a lovely lustre.
The 100% natural materials were felted into a fluffy fine felt that feels warm and breathable. This scarf is wet felted with very thin layers of fibre into a durable piece of airy felt .It is super lightweight and a wonderful gift to send overseas.
Materials: about 80% NZ Merino fibre , 20% Mulberry silk fibre
Size : about 65-75 cm perimeter and 40-45 cm wide
I used biodegradable skin friendly soap during felting.
The scarf comes ironed and is ready to wear.
If this item was just sold ( e.g. in my studio) at the time of your order it will be made to order within a weeks time. In that case you will be noticed). My shop is being updated evenings every day .
Please care for this garment as you do with all your woolen items. Wash by hand in warm water using quality, natural soap. Gently squeeze dry in a towel and dry flat, gently reshaping as required. Iron on wool or silk setting. Between washes , freshen up garment by airing or steam ironing
Please note colors can appear different from computer to computer.

Delivery time within New Zealand is usually 2-5 days.
2. I ship worldwide from New Zealand as NZ post International air parcel (untracked).
- If you wish to have a tracked delivery please let me know and i calculate the additional cost for you.
- Delivery target is about 3-10 working days (sometimes e. g around Christmas time ! up to 4 weeks ) depending on your location.
Important deadlines reg. shipping from NZ over Christmas period :
Parcels going overseas in time for Christmas by International Air will need to being posted by 7 December for Australia, 2 December for the South Pacific, Asia, North America, UK and Europe, and 30 November for the rest of the world. There are later deadlines for International Courier and International Express Courier services in early and mid-December.
