Another year, another Christmas print; I’ll be starting to lose my grinchy reputation soon…
Commissioned exclusively for the Natale Store (head over there to buy this image on cards and gift tags - http://felt.co.nz/shop/natale), ‘Snowflakes and Candy Canes’ draws its inspiration from the gorgeous decorations created by my very talented fellow Felter (and real life office buddy), Mel Adams. Mel’s Christmas decorations are lovingly and expertly crafted in New Zealand, but have a distinctively Scandinavian aesthetic – understated, traditional and timeless. I particularly like her Bah Humbug black hearts and cheeky elves.
Originally an acrylic painting on board which I’ve had reproduced as a limited edition giclee print, ‘Snowflakes and Candy Canes’ may be sweet and endearingly childlike, but, like all the best children’s fairy tales, it also has an undercurrent of darkness.

Your print will be unframed, packaged in a cardboard mailing tube and sent via Fastway Couriers, which takes 1-3 days for delivery. I'll mail the package within 3 working days of your payment clearing.
