Grey Beach Glass - Lampwork Glass and Sterling Silver Earrings

These little earrings are a simpe design featuring softly etched transparent glass lentil shaped beads. These earrings are finished with sterling silver and dangle approximately 34 mm from the top of the ear wires. The little bead measures approximately 15 mm round and 7 mm thick.

Each glass bead is hand crafted one at a time over a flame using glass from Italy. The foundation begins with a pale transparent glass wound around a mandrel then pressed with a brass press into a petite lentil shape. The bead is then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for several hours to strengthen the glass, before being tumble etched to give the appearance of beach glass and made into earrings for you to wear.
