Lino-cut 'Humpback whale, cow & calf'

This ink print has been created using a hand carved Lino block, on high quality acid-free print paper. (Paper approx A5 in total size) and is packaged in cellophane with a support foam board.

This print was going to happen eventually

Whales have had big importance to my family.
We are keen to help preserve these fascinating creatures and to increase whale numbers.
My father works every winter with the department of conservation, collecting numbers and data on whales coming through Tory channel, cook strait in New Zealand.
A great thing when you realize that he was once a whaler.

This print commemorates all the history (and future)
our family has had with the whale.
