NZ Greenstone/Pounamu Toki with Brass binding

A beautifully hand carved piece of NZ Greenstone or Pounamu in a traditional Maori Toki design. I have made a binding from pure brass that swirls into a koru design. A secure fitting with an organic look to suit a man or a women.
The stone is a mid/dark green with inclusions of iron throughout and a lovely translucency typical of NZ greenstone. This stone is from the West coast of the South Island.

This piece measures 6.6cm long and 5mm thick. I have hung it on a black adjustable cord 38-65cm long.

Greenstone is believed to bring an energy of renewal, justice, courage and is a warm heart stone, making a lovely gift

I use NZ Parcel post which usually takes 2-3 days or choose courier post for the quickest option. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive.
