Hand made wooden fidget spinner - not just toys, but therapy tools too.

Ebonised oak is created by a natural process in which the tannins in the wood react with a natural solution of steel and vinegar. It has a satiny wax finish that highlights the grain through the color, and adds to the organic feel of the timber

It measures approximately 75mm at widest point, and 50mm from the centre to outside edge*

If you need to fidget to focus, or relieve anxiety, this handmade wooden spinner may be just the tool that helps you to do so. Always made from locally reclaimed timbers, our spinners provide a way to kinetically offload that brain busyness, stress and anxiety, that can get on the way of everyday things.

These feel great, with the warmth and grounding properties that wood naturally has. When not spinning, the tactile contrast of the wood and steel has it’s own appeal. The all steel bearing has also been specifically selected to ensure good spin, feel and sound.

As each spinner is made by hand, not machines, there are often some minor variances in the balance of each one. Some will run smooth, and some will have what could be discerned as a slight wobble. It has been called interesting by some of our customers, (outside Felt), as it highlights the effects of centrifugal force. If you have a preference, please specify in your order - smooth or interesting.

This spinner is made from reclaimed white oak flooring, from an EQ related rebuild, Redcliffs, Christchurch. The spinner pictured is indicative. The one you receive will be almost identical, apart from some slight differences in wood grain.

*Generally this size will fit around 10-12 years onwards.To measure hand fit, press middle finger and thumb together will nails pointing towards each other. and measure the distance between the centre of the fingers and the palm. If it is more than 50mm, it will spin. If not, please check our other listings for spinners for smaller hands.
