This mala is made from rudraksha seeds and faceted black agate. It's hand knotted with eco-friendly hemp and finished with a onyx teardrop and handmade hemp tassel.
Stone, wood and plant prayer beads in classically cool styling.
Rudraksha seeds are traditionally used for prayer beads in Hinduism. They are said to promote peace and harmony, and protect the wearer’s energy from external influence. Black agate is calming, grounding and protecting. This energetic blend is perfect for anyone looking for a little peace and protection from everyday mayhem.
The total beaded length is approximately 40" (100 cm). It's a lovely, lightweight mala that will go with pretty much anything. The mala beads wrap around the average-sized ladies wrist five times, offering you another way to wear your mala necklace.
I use hemp because it feels earthy and real. Compared with cotton, hemp production uses less land, fertilizer, water, pesticides and herbicides. It’s good stuff, albeit pricey.
