Kakapo Felt Pincushion designed by Cherry Parker

Kakapo Felt Pincushion designed by Cherry Parker
The kakapo is New Zealand’s largest and most endangered parrot. Just one of our native birds and flowers to find their way into my new range of ‘2 Hour Pincushions’.

All sewn from the right side, the kakapo design is anchored with as few stitches as possible making it very easy to sew together.

Using a simple running stich or merely an up-down, up-down stitch each pincushion can be completed from start to finish in 2 hours, making this a must-have, must make design.
Make one or two or collect the entire series.

I began designing one pincushion and am now finding it difficult to stop.
Colorful, quick to sew and useful these little cushions tick all the boxes!
Diagrams and placement details are included in the simple instructions to sew this pincushion which has a diameter of 4” (10cms)
