Dressed soft dark grey reclaimed leather, my coat has been hand embossed around the entire perimeter.
Open me up and you’ll find I am filled with In between, I am filled with 120 sheets (240 pages counting both sides) of 200 gsm Eco paper by Fabriano. This versatile paper is made using 100% post-consumer waste, 50% Hydro-power production & no chlorine bleach.
Each sheet has been individually hand-torn, richly stained (using a special non-acidifying process) before being stitched directly into my coat with Victorian rose coloured linen thread. This style of binding allows me to lay flat when in use. I'd be ideal for all sorts of writing, sketching & drawing along with pasting snippets of things.
Due to the spontaneous effect of staining, my pages are very rustic, and no two are alike.
When not in use, I’ll protect your creations with my wrap soft pink leather tie which simply secures on my back with a string of cream wooden beads.
Measuring 6 x 4 ¾ inches with a 2 inch-thick spine, I’d make a wonderful secret keeper, portable art studio and all round best friend for the creative soul.
