PERENDALE FIBRE

This is a gorgeous 200g "bump" of New Zealand grown Perendale moorit. The fibre is from an unshorn lamb that was shorn as a hogget, so is very soft and ideal for felting. Moorit is the "ginger head" gene in sheep, i.e. the natural wool is a gingery tan colour. I've removed VM and lamb tips as much as possible, and painted the fibres - the result is a lively and organic-looking roving in dark red with sections of moss green, tan and a silvery dove blue.

The "small" print:
My hand-dyed wools are non-repeatable runs, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Please hand wash your wool with care. Wool labeled “superwash” you can cold machine wash. I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash your item separately.

If you’re not satisfied with your wool you can return it to me in original condition, i. e. with label attached and at your own cost in exchange for different wool or a refund minus bank fees.
