Spurtle/Muddler

An item of Scottish origin, the spurtle is the Scots much revered porridge mixing stick. Also called a muddler in the USA this wonderful device can be used for many other mixing operations than simply porridge. Crafted in beautiful New Zealand Rimu timber which has been turned on the wood lathe and then finished with food safe mineral oil and Manuka beeswax, the spurtle makes a wonderful gift or would be an excellent addition to any cooks kitchen. The handle has been textured for excellent grip and ergonomic use and at the top is the authentic Scottish thistle. Length is 30cm.
