Solid bronze Fish Hook~Hei matu. Hand crafted New Zealand pendant

Hand crafted original New Zealand Maori fish hook design in Solid Bronze.
The Fish hook or Hei Matau is a traditional Maori design symbolizing prosperity, abundance & strength. Bringing a respect for the sea and good luck while traveling over water. NZ's good luck charm.
It has Maori engraving detail on both sides.

Pure bronze is a timeless metal used for it's strength & beauty since the 'Bronze Age' it has a similar colour to white gold and it deepens with age.
These are uniquely New Zealand designs made by my partner & I here in NZ. They are fully 3D sculptural pieces & are not hollowed out or flat on the back, finished by hand to a high polish. Quality pieces to keep or pass on as a treasured gift.

Pendant measures 3.7cm (just under 1.5 inch) long.
Hung on a black waxed slip knot cord, adjustable to wear long or short.

Will be sent in a lovely black velvet gift pouch with a card describing the material and the meaning of the design.

I use NZ post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive within NZ. Overseas parcels are insured and can take 2 weeks to arrive. Items are safely packaged.
