Industrial watch movement cufflinks

These cufflinks are part of my, 'Altered Timepiece' jewellery collection. They have been crafted from the inside of a vintage ladies watch. Here the entire watch is on display. Usually hidden from sight now the internal components of a watch are able to be seen. Five of the industrial rubies are visible on each earring as well as the balance bridge with its little + and - signs to assist the watchmaker in his adjustments. The lovely silver machined wheels and cogs as well as the golden balance wheels are on show and able to move.
My timepiece jewellery has been created with all stainless steel findings, which are strong and unyielding and suit the industrial feel of the design.
