Owls Perching - magnetic wall art set - chrimson & green florals

These are delightfully dynamic in their arrangement possibilities. You see, they're magnetic. They're for those places in the home that we like to loiter; the kitchen fridge is a hot-spot.

Each set has interactive components so they're really dynamic decor.

This owl and branch set has 5 separate magnets:
* 2 x owls
* 1 x whimsical branch to perch on
* 2 leaves.
As a guide, the branch measures about 200mm long

Each set is crafted from offcuts of all sorts of materials; they're tactile and textured made of scraps of vintage wallpaper, fabric offucts, pre-loved buttons (glued + stitched on) and repurposed garments.

Suggested uses:
Some of my supporters have used a set for each family member to hold onto notices on the fridge, some have been bought for owl-loving mothers-in-law to glam up their fridges, some are bought to transform a room as an interactive approach to wall decals, some become the holders of precious family photos, some just are loved as fridge art.

HOW THEY STICK TO THE WALL
If you're interested in having magnetic wallscapes in places other than the kitchen fridge, here's a suggestion.

We've painted a few spots of walls in our home with magnetic paint. Resene makes an excellent magnetic paint [http://www.resene.co.nz/comn/whtsnew/magnetic.htm]

We quickly applied 2 coats of magnetic paint and a top coat of wall colour so that the magnetic area is disguised and the magnets appear to stick like magic! This is easily done in half a day, but there as a permanent magnetic canvas for years to come!

* After much loving use the fabric/paper surfaces may show signs of wear around the edges, all part of the charm!
