Hand Crocheted Ollie the Owl

Who'd love to see this retro-style owl in the room? After all, he's pretty easy going. Unless they are hunting or feeding their young, owls are content just to take things easy.

Ollie the Owl is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with polyester hobby fibrefill.

Even though owls are solitary, the collective noun for a group of owls is a parliament.

Ollie stands 17cm (7 inches) tall and 16cm (6.5 inches) wide.

During the day, Ollie works as a security guard. With his wide-eyed look, he's more than capable of keeping an eye on things whilst you're away.

Owls can't move their eyes very much, so they turn their entire head to see in a different direction instead.

Ollie the Owl would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can read books to him. Ollie loves books.

Alternatively, he'd feel just at home with an adult, curled up on the couch watching telly.

Ollie the Owl comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.

Ollie is traditional brown and tan but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Ollie can be made in any colour combination you like.
