A wonderful Activity for Children of all ages.The next time you take a walk with your child or go in to the garden take this little book with you and some pencils and see what you can an find- a bee on a flower? a spiders web? or perhaps some leaves and flowers to take home and press. Hopefully something to draw or write about?
The idea with this book, which is mainly blank pages apart from some suggestions in the back is to create something that is very much your own.
I still have the Nature Dairy I made in the 1980's! and also my mothers from the 1950's which is now a real family treasure and it was what inspired me to make my own. Mum's is complete with the flowers and plants she pressed in it at the time and has the formal language of that age too which is funny for my children to read now
