Christmas cracker kit-set! SPOTTY

Ever since I can remember I've made Christmas crackers for the family.
Now I've written my methods as step-by-step instructions, prepared all the materials you'll need, and even made you some tinch heart magnets or stickers to pop inside.

For EACH cracker purchased, your kit will include everything in the 2nd photo:
- 3 x little tinch fabric heart magnets or stickers to pop inside (they're a lucky dip, could be any colours)
- round tinch Christmassy wreath stick-on tag for the final touch
- cracker snap/banger
- card for inner tube, trimmed to size, with tape
- tissue paper, hand-trimmed to size
- outer paper (red/white spots as pictured), hand-trimmed to size, with decorative zig-zag edge
- 2 x white curling ribbon pieces
- each kit also comes with an instruction sheet and a wee festive treat for the maker!

Imagine, Christmas day - the whole family - crossing arms ready to pull the crackers you've made for them. They're filled with treats you've handmade, bought from other local makers, or selected especially with them in mind. They pop, crack, bang! Squeals of delight as loot jumps from the cylinders, spin on the table, and rattle on the floor! Oohs and Aahs as everyone discovers the individual goodies that were hiding until now; unexpected, quality, clever, thoughtful little gifts. This is how crackers should be!

This is a lovely pre-Christmas activity to get the kids to help with - but remember, loot is supposed to be a surprise!
When finished, they're rather majestic, they make beautiful Christmas table decorations while waiting patiently to be pulled. In theory, the person who gets the larger end of the cracker gets to keep the loot....
These are an ideal gift to send the in-laws, or grandparents - make enough for one each, package them all together carefully in a box, and there's something for everyone, thoughtful and fun for Christmas day!


You will also need:
Scissors
Sticky tape
Christmas music to entertain as you make!

I suggest you fill them with other little treats too, as they make nice fat tubes, here's some suggestions:
- more tinch magnets - lucky dip hearts or fish are ideal (see my other listings)!
- entertainment note: hand-write jokes, quiz questions, family discussion topic i.e. share a memory of..... etc
- packets of seeds
- little wooden pegs
- chocolates
- party hats (try making them yourself!)
