Hand-Printed Card: Fantail

'Fantail' is a limited edition, block-printed card.

This print started its life as a real fantail that I photographed while staying on a farm in Wairarapa, New Zealand. I drew a picture of this gorgeous bird using my photo as a reference, then transferred the design to a rubber block. I then carved the design into the rubber by hand. I mounted my rubber block to a piece of wood, inked it up and used it to print a run of cards.

Printed using archival-quality ink on quality 270gsm recycled cardstock.
Card measures 109mm x 153mm.
Comes with an envelope printed with a smaller carved fantail design.
100% original design, made by hand, from scratch in Wellington, New Zealand.
