vintage map woodcut cloud earrings

These whimsical earrings have been made with sweet cloud shaped woodcuts. The clouds are made by adhering vintage map imagery to 1/8" thick wood board and cutting with a laser cutting machine. They are finished with multiple layers of varnish, reverse is painted black, and brass circle attachments are glued on securely to hang them from the 33mm long ear wires (nickel and lead free). The clouds are 4cm at the widest point, the size works really well with the length of the earring hooks and the woodcuts are light to wear.
