This is a simple and straightforward pattern that I have knitted and put together myself after several stubborn attempts at perfection - so it is certainly well tried and tested! As with most items made for Babies or Children, be they Crochet or Knit, these Child* sized Mittens knit up encouragingly quickly AND I am quietly confident that I have worded the pattern in such a way that knitting the thumbs is a breeze! Not to mention that this pattern (as do many of my Knit Patterns) incorporates the expert advice of my personal on-call Knitting trouble-shooter - yes, that's right - Grandma : P
The pattern includes a list of materials including recommended yarn/wool to use, both UK and US needle sizes, common abbreviations, and colour pictures of the finished Mittens. Also the Basket Stitch itself is an added bonus as it makes it that much easier to keep track of your stitches and rows! Easy to read and follow you'll have these Mittens knitted in a jiffy and be feeling fairly chuffed with yourself to boot - I know I did!
