Purple Dusk bracelet: wrap bracelet in purple, mauve, and copper
This wrap-around bracelet consists of a single length of antiqued-copper coloured memory wire, threaded with a gleaming mix of purple and antiqued-copper coloured beads:
Small, smooth, irregularly shaped, purple glass beads with a touch of 'aurora borealis' sheen (a rainbow-like finish);
Imitation pearls in aubergine;
Czech glass beads in a variety of finishes, including cathedral beads, pale mauve beads with a granite look, and wonderfully sparkly firepolished glass; and
Small, antiqued-copper coloured, pumpkin shaped beads.
Memory wire is very strong and will hold its shape even under great stress – hence the name: the wire 'remembers' its shape. To wear this bracelet, simply grab one end of the wire and wrap the bracelet around your wrist. It will stay there until you unwrap it – no clasp necessary.
Czech glass is famous worldwide for its high quality. Firepolishing is a technique whereby the beads are 'polished' by subjecting them to a very hot flame, creating a bright, shiny surface. Firepolished glass sparkles almost like crystal, and often seem to change colour with the light.
