Silver Chapel earrings: antiqued silver-plated crosses with sparkling glass and silver on long ear-wires

Ornate Gothic crosses, plated with silver and antiqued to show up all their details, hang beneath silver coloured beads and shimmering clear Czech glass.

The cross charms are brass based, plated with silver, then artificially aged ('antiqued') to bring out their details. Clicking on the largest image will enable you to view the photographs at full size.
Czech glass is famous worldwide for its high quality. These clear, faceted beads are clasped by silver-plated bead-caps and flanked by tiny, silver-coloured metal beads.

The 'Silver Chapel' earrings measure 58mm from top to bottom. The cross charms are 27mm long and 20mm wide. The ear-wires are silver plated, and are without nickel.
Keeping these earrings hanging, rather than jumbled up in a jewellery box, will help to ensure that the ear-wires do not get opened or bent by other jewellery pieces pushing against them. The beads and bead-caps have been simply slid onto the ear-wires, so keeping them closed will ensure that they cannot work their way off the ear-wires and get lost.
