Swallow silhouette Brooch

This High gloss acrylic Swallow brooch has been designed from a photograph I took of the swallows at our local park back where I used to live in North Melbourne.

These gorgeous little birds have a slender, streamlined body and long pointed wings, which allow great maneuverability and endurance, as well as frequent periods of gliding. They are capable of reaching speeds of between 50–65 km/h.

This brooch was featured recently as an installation piece at Makertorium in Te Papa, Museum of New Zealand in Wellington, as can be seen in image four - More photos of the birds can be found up on my blog : http://vincenteknight.com/2013/04/27/matertorium/

This Brooch will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and card and posted in sturdy cardboard mailer for protection.
It will be sent by standard post from Wellington, However I am happy to advise on costs for courier if so required.
