Serenity Prayer Recovery Beads, Rose Quartz

Prayer beads and rosaries have been used for centuries as an aid to prayer and mediation. Running them through your fingers and using them to count prayers or affirmations is a soothing way of engaging both mind and body in meditation. These Serenity Prayer beads have 12 prayer beads and a front extension with a unity symbol, a lampwork glass pause/introductory bead and a brass locket with the Serenity Prayer inside.

This set is made with natural pale pink rose quartz 10mm round beads. The beads are each linked by hand with bronze art wire into a circle that meets at the unity connector, the symbol of recovery.

At the front is a loely handmade lampwork glass bead which is a place to begin and end your prayer or meditation, leading to an engraved antiqued brass round locket that holds the Serenity Prayer. You can of course change the prayer or add a little personal photo or memento of your own.

Members of 12-step programs find these beads especially useful as the number of beads corresponds to the number of Steps in the program, and the Serenity Prayer is used in most 12-step groups.

The beads come attractively wrapped with a pamphlet explaining their purpose and suggested use, along with the full version of the Serenity Prayer.
