"HUGS" rice heat/cold pack

These Mushymoo rice heat/cold packs were designed to be functional while indulging my love of typography. I always design what I would love to have myself.

These packs are my smaller range, ideal for popping in the freezer for those unexpected “ouchie” moments or heating up and popping into your pocket on a cold morning.

Rice is an excellent ingredient to use for heat packs, it holds heat well and will tolerate being constantly reheated in the microwave (these small bags only need 30 seconds or so depending on your microwave). If you want to use it as a cold pack simply pop it into a zip lock bag and put in the freezer (this will avoid the rice getting completely wet which you need to avoid to ensure the longevity of your bag – spot cleaning would be fine).

The rice is contained in its own white cotton bag with an additional printed outer cotton bag. The letters are hand stamped onto the fabric and then ironed to fix the colour. As they are hand stamped each bag may vary slightly to that photographed.
