Upcycled embroidery rosette brooch

These rosettes are my take on a classic design. There's something neat about feeling like you're a winner (or a place-getter, at least!) and nothing says that more than a ribbon pinned on your chest.

My version is completely handstitched, using upcycled vintage embroideries, selected sweet fabrics, acrylic felt, a nickel-plated brooch back and a lot of love.
The brooch is firm enough to hold its shape but soft enough to be perfect for us mamas. They can be poked, prodded and folded, don't scratch wee faces, are almost unbreakable!

This one measures 12cmx17.5cm.
