For ages, customers have asked me if I had small amounts of yarn for makers of toys, hexi puffs, amigurumi, and other small items. Tadaa - here's a basket of tiny balls, which include all weights, many different fibre combinations (although most is pure wool), and loads of different colours. The balls are hand wound and include commercially dyed, hand painted, and even hand spun yarn.

I sell by weight: 100g for $20.

Although I can't guarantee certain colours I will consider your preference.

The second photo shows "Owly" - an example of what you can do with tiny amounts of wool. It was knitted by the very creative Gunhild - thanks a bunch!

The third photo shows a number of hexi puffs for the Beekeeper's Quilt (pattern available on Ravelry) - another example of how to use up short lengths of yarn.

The "small" print:
My hand-dyed yarns are non-repeatable runs, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Please hand wash your yarn with care. Wool labeled “superwash” you can cold machine wash. I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash your item separately and keep it away from other items at all times while wet.

I take commissions.

Please pay by bank transfer if you live in New Zealand. Credit card option is offered for overseas customers only.

Please contact me if you live outside of New Zealand.

I will combine postage when possible.

When choosing colours please keep in mind that not all monitors show colours the same.

If you’re not satisfied with your wool you can return it to me in original condition, i. e. with label attached and at your own cost in exchange for different wool or a refund.

I’m a great believer in avoiding waste, and in recycling. That’s why I use recycled packaging materials wherever possible.

If you’re happy with your wool, please let me know and don’t forget to place feedback.
