ribbon blankies - black & white heart/star

These ribbon blankies are a great first toy for any baby under 12 months of age. They are great for tactile and early sensory development – babies love to look at, hold, touch and suck on these! They are made from polar fleece and have a crinkly inner so they make a nice rattly-crunchy sound to develop cause/effect associations. I try to get as many different ribbon textures on there as possible so they don't all feel the same.

Very transportable. I always keep one in my nappy bag – great for pulling out to entertain baby if you get caught waiting at the doctors – or hook onto buggy straps through one of the ribbon loops to keep baby happy at shops/cafe.

Machine washable but line-dry only to prevent the inner from melting.

Measure approx 20cm square - some variation due to hand-crafted nature.

These are very light and easy to post – great for an out-of-town gift. Fit in an A4 envelope.
