The Snow Queen's Earrings: glittering rhinestone snowflakes on gold hooks

Incredibly glittery snowflake charms hang from gold-plated hooks. The charms are covered in clear rhinestones that have an 'aurora borealis' finish, which gleams, in bright light, with hints of blue, purple, gold, green, and pink — almost like opal. Each snowflake has a multifaceted crystal, in pale lemon yellow, at its centre. The backs of the crystals are pointed, so the earrings do not lie quite flat. In bright light, they sparkle beautifully.
I think that these are the kind of earrings that would be worn by the Snow Queen in Hans Christian Andersen's famous fairy tale.
