Dressed in rustic espresso brown reclaimed leather, we are a duo of miniature books for your thoughts.

One of us measures 2 ½ x 2 ¾ cm’s, is hand embossed on the front and is dressed up with sky blue & white headbands. The smaller of us sits at a mere 2 x 1 ¾ cm’s & wears red & grey striped headbands. We both begin & end with snippets of decorative paper, and are filled with hand-torn, tea-stained archival pages for your minuscule words or sketches, which have been intricately hand stitched with linen thread..

I am coupled with an adorable 18mm wide magnifying dome in an antiqued brass lace setting, featuring a resized vintage map of Waiheke Island, from an Atlas published in the 1930s.

Hanging from a fine antique bronze chain secured with a lobster clasp, my entire length measures 17 inches long (36 inches from end to end). This length may be adjusted to suit.

I would make an ideal gift for the traveller, nomad, artist, flaneur, bibliophile, wanderer, poet, librarian, thinker…and particularly someone who just loves Waiheke
