HATHOR (CASHMERE)

Listing image #116111
Listing image #116112
It’s hard to call anything “soft” after you touched a skein of cashmere yarn. In 2011, Hathor was my first step into the world of luxury yarns. Since then I have discovered the beauty of 100% cashmere, which I currently only offer as lace yarns. Later this year, it will be joined by some DK.

Hathor has been spun in France from 60% Mongolian cashmere and 40% fine wool. I painted it in fire engine red with streaks of maroon - I imagine the most beautiful lacey scarf-and-hat combo made from this exquisit yarn.

250g in five 50g skeins available. 6-ply (knits like a 4-ply), app. 190m per skein. This listing is for one skein.

The "small" print:
My hand-dyed wools are non-repeatable runs, which means once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. Please hand wash your wool with care. Wool labeled “superwash” you can cold machine wash. I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash your item separately.

NOTE:
I take commissions.

Please contact me if you live outside of New Zealand.

When choosing colours please keep in mind that not all monitors show colours the same.

If you’re not satisfied with your wool you can return it to me in original condition, i. e. with label attached and at your own cost in exchange for different wool or a refund.

I’m a great believer in avoiding waste, and in recycling. That’s why I use recycled packaging materials wherever possible.

If you’re happy with your wool, please let me know and don’t forget to place feedback.
