Navy Blue NZ Merino and Angora WOOL Latticed Fingerless Mitts with Chunky, Vibrant Turquoise Buttons

This pair of my much coveted (and originally designed to boot) Latticed Fingerless Mitts touts the intoxicating combination of Midnight Blue in 70% NZ Merino and 30% Angora with contrasting chunky, Vibrant Turquoise buttons. Although this Wool is made by a NZ company other than my usual local stockist, the Blend's same soft felt-like texture still makes it a winner for me. To be honest I was never much of a Fingerless Glove/Mitt advocate - in fact as a firm Fingerless Glove non-believer I often wondered aloud what the point of them was. Then one day a friend mentioned that as they covered certain pressure points, Fingerless Mitts/Gloves were actually quite capable of keeping your hands rather toasty, whilst having the added advantage of being really very handy - and a seed was planted! (I'm a practical girl at heart after all) Not long after that I was teaching myself a new stitch from a book, when a thought oddly occurred to me - this latticed stitch - double layer lattice-work 3D textured stitch over a solid backdrop - would make for Fab Fingerless Mitts. And I was right : )

Gloves come with care instructions and other usual care label details on a swing tag - so there is no annoying itchy scratchy tag in your gloves!
