What a topsy-turvy year!
Jeni Dickson founded Aviva out of dissatisfaction with the wastage in the fashion industry. Rather than continuing to be part of the problem, she decided it was time to be part of the solution!
Situated as we are in the new Felt headquarters, we have a lovely view of the Avon river winding its way through Christchurch’s central business district. It was a lovely surprise this morning to spot a kingfisher keeping mindful watch over the water from a sunny spot in a nearby tree, and it inspired a spirited discussion in the office.

Maggie Churcher lives at the beach in Tutukaka with partner Neil, daughter Bella and son Jimmy. Every morning, she rides along the Ngunguru waterfront to her cottage studio, where, inspired by her surroundings in beautiful Northland, she designs and handcrafts her jewellery.
