Notes from the Antarctic vortex
You don’t want to face a polar blast without the gear for it – make sure you’ve got the accessories to see you through to spring.
Serenity
Peace. It can be hard to find a little island of calm in today’s frantic world. We found some lovely serenity-inducing goodies to inspire and encourage a little quiet contemplation in your day
Oh I do like to be beside the seaside…
Here at Felt HQ though we’ve been admiring the lovely range of swimwear from Felt seller Swanwear (recently featured in the Dominion Post) and dreaming of the warmer days to come…
Winter is coming: are you prepared?
Well the weather’s been a real mixed bag of late – balmy sun one day, freezing rain the next – it’s jolly hard to know how to dress to meet the day at this time of year! Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered
Autumn accessorising
Autumn may have seemed like a brief afterthought between summer and winter this year, but it doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about accessories that are just a little bit more… snuggly.
Beautiful bicycles
What’s not to love about the humble bicycle? A form of transport that is quiet, human energy-powered, non-polluting and really quite fetching design-wise.
The active crafter
Craft is out and about (and getting some sunshine!) in this collection of handmade goodies for an active lifestyle, all from our clever Felt makers.
Featured seller: elephant+bird
The team of elephant+bird is made up of Matt and Jo: Matt is Irish and Jo is Australian and together they now live in Auckland. They started elephant+bird as a creative outlet almost two years ago, only to watch it spiral forwards and take on a whole life of its own.
Featured Seller: The Seamstress
Paula Layton is a busy woman. Owner of two businesses on Felt, The Seamstress and Rockit, she lives in Nelson with her husband and two kids. “Life is crazy busy! When I’m not sewing for my two clothing labels or spending time with my family, I love to bake. I do a small amount of work for a café and have a catering job through summer. I’m a bit of a modern day domestic goddess with no time for house work!”
