Easter treats don’t have to be chocolate! We’ve found some sweet alternatives to make Easter special for little ones.
Jannelle of Heart Felt makes these gorgeous bonnets from vintage, retro and recycled wool and cotton fabrics. This little sweetie is a woodland bunny wool bonnet that ties under the chin. It’s made from gray wool lined in a delicate floral cotton, and the floppy ears feature a beautiful piece of vintage embroidery. So beautiful!
Why say it with flowers when you could say it with bunnies? (Yes, we know, we have a bit of a bunny-bias here at Felt HQ.) Whether you’re celebrating a new arrival, comforting a scraped knee or saying I love you, you have to admit these bunnies rate pretty high on the awww-scale.
How do you like your Easter mornings? Do they start with a tasty breakfast – perhaps a perfect boiled egg?
What about making a few homemade Easter treats? Making bunny biscuits is a great activity for the kids, and a change from chocolate.
And while we’re on the subject of bunnies… we think this guy is pretty gosh-darned cute.
Finally, take a break and send the kids out for an Easter egg forage in the garden – they’ll have worked up an appetite by the time those biscuits are baked, and maybe you’ll be able to sneak a few before they get back!
