Adrienne Mulqueen first tried her hand at weaving in Nelson in 1979. In 2018 she is making beautiful kitchen and hand towels for everyday use, the result of a collaboration with fellow Dunedin weaver Christine Keller.
“Textiles are often very beautiful and as a result tend to be tucked away safely in drawers and cupboards, brought out to be admired and then put away again. To help change that I am trying to make beautiful textiles that can be used and loved and that will last.”
We love Adrienne’s philosophy and style – read more of her story in her shop, Adrienne’s Loom.
