Market forecast for early November

The market forecast is looking bright for the next fortnight, as we all enjoy (hopefully!) better weather and a leisurely run-up to Christmas.

On Saturday 2 November the Havelock Handmade Market starts the month off at the Village Court, in Havelock North. This month’s market coincides with Boulevard Day at Havelock, so things will be lively!

The next day (Sunday 3 November) in Auckland sees the marvelous Devonport Craft Market make its monthly appearance at the Devonport Community House. Head on down for your dose of handmade gifts, vintage goodies, music and fun. This month Joanna from Whatnots is being featured on their blog – make sure you check it out.

The following week there’s a nice wee bundle of markets around the country. Wellington and the Bay of Plenty have offerings for crafty shoppers on Saturday 9 November, with the arrival Porirua’s Pukerua Bay Kindergarten Craft Fair and the latest Galatea Market, respectively.

On Sunday 10 November get your skates on down to Otago for the Stadium Market in the Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin. The good news is, if you can’t make it that week, this market can be found there every Sunday – fabulous!

Finally on Friday 15 November get your glad rags and your sunhat on for the Piako Fete and Ladies’ Day Out in Matamata. It promises to be a fabulous day, so visit their website for ticket prices.
