A bit of sweet whimsy

Edible Wafer Paper Hydrangea Flowers by Sweet Whimsy

Who doesn’t love hydrangeas? These beauties are completely edible – they’re printed with food colouring inks onto wafer paper made from potato starch. They come as an A4 sheet which you can cut and gently mold into 3D flowers to elegantly decorate your culinary creations.

Joanne of Sweet Whimsy scanned real hydrangeas to create these unique cake decorations in her Wellington studio. Don’t they look stunning?
