Frocktober day 16: Tutus 2

Here’s an elegant frock for an evening out! This gorgeous tunic-style dress from costumer and vintage silk revitaliser Sally of Tutus 2 is made from upcycled silk kimonos and other pieces of vintage Japanese silk. It’s one of a kind, so you’ll never suffer from same dress syndrome at that posh soirĂ©e! Wear it loose and flowing, or nip in the waist with the matching tie, or even one of Sally’s own gorgeous obis – it’s up to you.

When it comes to accessories, why not stay with a Japanese theme? We thought this exquisite water lily pendant from silverworker Jennie Mudown and these lovely light origami fan earrings from Blue 9 White 10 would set it off nicely.

The style just keeps on coming this Frocktober! We’re half-way there, so check out our Pinterest board for a Froctober review.
