my carvings are created from old native timber fence posts that have been pulled out of the ground and earmarked as firewood. the natural beauty of the wood talks to me and allows me to bring out what is inside and display it so that it radiates and invites human touch. i enjoy knowing that these glorious pieces of wood, a little part of the central king country end up all over new zealand
