I work in an art gallery in West Yorkshire, UK and I am also a self employed glass artist. I have a small kiln that I use to fuse glass and it is my passion! Although I live near Leeds I am a Londoner born and bred and have only lived here for 20 years.
I love bright colours and in-yer-face design. My inspiration is E numbers and artificial colourings in food. I am also very inspired by patchwork quilts and base many of my designs on these. I use mostly Bullseye glass (the best quality) as it has the brightest colours and the best dichroic coatings (CBS). I spend hours creating new designs from drawings to cutting, from grinding to cleaning, from fusing to slumping. Each piece is individually made - hence my claim - Unique, Contempory, Quality.
