Kia ora and welcome to Copper-Red ~ Jewellery by Sonya Cameron, from Island Bay in Wellington.
My jewellery is inspired by the plant life of Aotearoa - from the clematis and lilies in our gardens in spring; to the pohutakawa and hibiscus of summer; and the puriri and kawakawa found while walking in the bush.
My favourite material is recycled copper (I cut up old hot water cylinders) and the fiery red colours that can be created with it. I lacquer the copper, and use it in conjunction with sterling silver.
All my ear wires are handmade from recycled sterling silver, and so are perfect if you have sensitive ears.
I am often able to customise my designs to suit your preferences, so just send me a message with your ideas, and I will let you know what I can do.
